Strengthening Families Program

Sumter School District is proud to offer the Strengthening Families Program as part of our commitment to supporting student success through strong family engagement. This evidence-based, family-centered initiative is available at no cost to families and is offered on a rotating basis at schools throughout the district following each program cycle.

The Strengthening Families Program is designed to enhance family relationships, improve communication, and support the development of essential life skills in both parents and children. By addressing key areas such as parenting strategies, youth resilience, and positive family interaction, the program helps build a foundation for long-term academic and personal success.

We encourage all eligible families to take advantage of this valuable opportunity to grow and strengthen together. For more information about program schedules and participation, please contact your school’s administrator. Be sure to check this website regularly for updates on upcoming program cycles and hosting school locations.
