BEHAVIORAL HEALTH SERVICES

Welcome to Sumter School District Behavioral Health Services
At Sumter School District, we are committed to providing comprehensive behavioral health services to ensure that every student has the support they need to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. These services are often delivered by a multidisciplinary team that may include school counselors, psychologists, social workers, nurses, mental health counselors and other professionals trained in mental health care.
Our Mission:
Our mission is to promote mental wellness, prevent crises, and intervene effectively when needed, fostering a safe and nurturing environment for all students. Through collaboration with students, parents, educators, and community partners, we strive to create a culture that values mental health and prioritizes the well-being of every individual.
